Booking Deposits, Instalments & Terms for Weddings
Initial Non-Refundable Deposits
• To secure the Manor House Venue on a specific date. We require a 10 % of the venue fee as a non-refundable deposit. {Currently the Venue Hire is R15,000.00 so the deposit required is R1,500.00.}
• The Manor House will then provide a quotation based on your requirements within 48 hours, this quotation is valid for 14 days.
• Within 7 days of acceptance of the quotation, a further non-refundable deposit of R3,500.00 is due and payable.
• A proof of payment must be sent to bookings@knorhoekestate.co.za .
THE MANOR HOUSE DOES NOT HOLD PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS WITHOUT PAYMENT
BOOKING TERMS AND AGREEMENT {Booking procedure and instalments}
• A final quotation including any extras like accommodation & catering if required, will be provided to the client by The Manor House once the deposits have been paid and is valid for 14 calendar days.
• Upon acceptance of the valid quotation, the client must complete the booking form as well as the terms and conditions for booking the relevant function.
• Once The Manor House approves the client’s application, a non-refundable first instalment of 25% of the outstanding balance is due and payable by the client within 14 days.
• A proof of payment must be sent to bookings@knorhoekestate.co.za and a confirmation of receipt and booking will be sent to the client.
• Instalment 2: A non-refundable second instalment of 25% of the initial outstanding fee is due halfway towards your booked date (pre-determined date).
• Instalment 3: A non-refundable Third instalment of 25% of the initial outstanding fee is due 30 days before the booked date (pre-determined date).
• Final Instalment: Final numbers and details provided to The Manor House no later than two weeks (14 days) before the function.
• The outstanding balance reflected on invoice is payable no later than 10 days before the function.
• The Manor House reserves the right to halt wedding preparations until all payments have been made
• Any additional costs after the function will be invoiced and are payable after breakfast the following day and must be settled on departure. Example: Corkage, Bar Tab, damages etc.
• The client takes full responsibility for any breakage or damage, which is to be settled after the function.
Cancellation Policy
The client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to The Manor House, but in doing so shall forfeit all monies paid to The Manor House.
Should the client wish to move their function date, after such date has been booked and confirmed by way of receipt of a first instalment, this will be an altogether new booking and a refund of the monies paid will only be made if The Manor House is able to re-book the venue on the date for another function. The refund is payable only when the replacement booking is confirmed by receipt of their deposit.
