The Manor House

at Knorhoek Estate

The Manor House was built in 1795 and is a national monument. Set on the slopes of the Hottentots Holland mountain above Sir Lowry’s Pass Village, on the Helderberg Wine Route around Somerset West. It hosts various events and is the perfect place for a board meeting, conference, wedding or private function.

myrun Sundays

myrun is a free weekly fitness event that is accessible to everyone and is held every Sunday morning at 8am (registration is from 7:30am

Every registered participant will be issued with a unique timing band and results can be checked after each myrun event. We offer a 2.5km and 5km route which can either be walked or run, we are also pram and dog friendly.

Discovery Vitality members that participate at our myrun event will be awarded with up to 300 Vitality points.

Breakfast Every Day

The Manor House at Knorhoek Estate is the breakfast destination of the Helderberg.

We serve breakfast daily from Monday to Sunday from 07H30 to 10H30 from only R35.

Knorhoek Market and Boot Sale

The Knorhoek Market is held every Sunday from 08H00 to 14H00

Foodstalls, home made arts and crafts, clothing, fresh produce, other exhibits and entertainment throughout the day for the whole family, old and young. Even your four legged family members are welcome! (on a leash please)

Murder at the Manor, presented by Dinners to Die For, is a night of interactive fun with real live actors.

A three course meal is included in the ticket price of R450 per person. Bookings can be made at Quicket and the menu can also be viewed there.

Charity Events

We at Knorhoek Estate support various charities with events at the Manor House.

We support the Somerset West Night Shelter by hosting an annual art auction as well as our Risk a Blister for a Sister annual Women's Day Walk.

We also support the Paul Steyn Foundation for which we will have a great first event later in 2020.
